  • 4 piece pineapple cores
  • 1/2 apple, sliced or chunks
  • 1/2 peach, sliced or chunks
  • 1/4 orange, peel the skin away from meat
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 passion fruit (optional)
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 2 black tea bags
  • 4 cup water

  • Combine all of the fruit, water, sugar and tea bags together in a pot.
  • Bring to boil and simmer for 15 minutes.
  • Leave to rest and strain with a colander.
  • If enjoying it warm, you can place it in a cup with some fresh cut fruit.
  • If enjoying cold, add ice cube in a cup, place some fresh fruit(optional) and pour fruit tea and enjoy!

  • You can use other types of fruit. (I would not recommend fruit like kiwi and mango, since it might be mushy through the cooking process.) But you can use it as garnish.
  • Traditionally Taiwanese fruit tea contains kumquat, but I was unable to get it so I substitute it with lemon juice.
